I Wish @ Plain Digital Wrapper

There’s a pretty neat thing going on over at Plain Digital Wrapper this week. I think you should head over and check it out!

Here’s the rules from the Fairy Godmother herself:
1. Check out the forum every day this week to find out who the sponsoring designers are.
2. Run, don’t walk, over to the shoppe and check out all their goodies.
3. Head back to the forum and show me what you just can't live without.
4. Keep your fingers crossed and hope that I grant your wish.

Sounds pretty cool to me!! This week they are featuring Southern Creek Designs, Julie.Itis, Paste Optional Designs, Dani's Delusions, Donna Rafferty and Kanga. Check out there products and pick out your favorites. Then head over to this thread and post your choices! You never know, you just might get what you wished for!

Here are my wishes:

It was hard for me to narrow it down to just two!! Goodness!

While I’ve got you here, There’s a few pages that I’ve made recently and I want to show them off.

starvingartist_zooper_junglSAD_ZOOperDay_bears

These two were made using a kit from Starving Artist Designs called ZOOper Day, here’s a preview:

So awesome! There’s lots more to tell, but I’ve got to get going. I’ll be back later this week. One thing before I go though, I’ll be hosting Speed Scraps at Ginger Scraps every SUNDAY during September!

I made that LO for the Survivor challenge at Ginger Scraps. How cute is that? Also, I made an ATC card for a CT challenge at Plain Digital Wrapper:

atc_pdw_mother

Those are some cute kids, don’t you think? Here’s a couple more pages that I’ve made since I’ve had Liberty. The first one was made for Survivor but I missed the deadline to advance. It was made with “Smolder” by Athena at PDW. Then the second LO was made with “Create” by Southern Creek Designs also at PDW.

The LO above is of Madison. You can definitely tell that they came from the same parents! I made this with a kit by Wylde Web Designs called “A Scrap A Day”. You can find it at Ginger Scraps. (I wasn’t sure if I had shared this one with you yet and it’s one of my favorites!)

I think that’s about all the updates that I have for you! I think I’m going to start on a new kit sometime this week. Right now I’m trying to decide on a swatch. I just can’t seem to pick one! Anyway, hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Plain Digital Wrapper + Freebie

dear scrapland

Happy Friday!! How’s everyone doing? We had a pretty good week. The in laws were in town this week and we all went to McMenamin’s to see Monsters Vs. Aliens. It was Madison’s first time at the theater and I think she enjoyed it for the most part, but Grandma said the loud noises scared her throughout the movie. So, we probably won’t be doing that again for a while. At least until she’s a bit older I think.

Let’s see, what have I been working on? Oh yea, I finally got my hands on another kit at Plain Digital Wrapper. This time it’s by Patty Webb and here’s a preview:

FolderFolder I picked out this kit because I really loved the colors and the papers looked really beautiful to me! Here’s the page that I made using just some of the papers from the kit:

pattywebb_icecream I had originally started this page for one of the challenges, but took a completely different turn and came up with this instead.

Speaking of challenges. I put together some Glitter styles and sheets using the color pallet from the Colored Tape challenge at PDW. Here’s a preview:

folder I don’t think I did too bad for my first time. However, I made them wwayyy too big so I had to spread them out into 4 downloads (6 photoshop styles and 6 12x12 at 300 dpi .png glitter sheets included). These are free for you to download, just log in at Plain Digital Wrapper and head over to this thread. Scroll over to page 2 and find my post (priddysweetjill), the links are posted there! While you’re there, go ahead and join in on the fun!

I also made a few papers that follow the swatch:

folder The download for these can also be found in that thread, but I’m going to share it here too! So, you can just click the preview to download!

Once I think of a good theme to go with those colors I do plan on making some elements to go along too, but that’ll be a bit down the road.

Until then, I hope you all have a great weekend and don’t forget to come back next week. I’ve got some more goodies that I want to share with you!

Plain Digital Wrapper – KariQ Designs

dear scrapland

Happy Fathers Day!

And now,

It’s time again to share some of the work I’ve been doing on the PDW CT. I’ve only worked with one kit so far this month. Due to my internet being cranky for a few weeks, I just got in contact with my assigned designers this last week. So, over the last couple weeks of the month, I’ll probably be showing off a few other kits as well (hopefully!)

Here’s the kit that I’ve been playing with for the last couple of days. It’s called Laughter and it’s by KariQ Designs:

folder

folderClick the previews to be taken to the shoppe. Elements and papers are also offered seperatly.

I love how the bright and dark colors go together and this kit just seemed to work with any photo’s that I tried to use. Here’s a few layouts that I made:

youresilly  celebrateatthebeach (This last one was made for a Ginger Scraps speed scrap. Don’t forget that there’s a speed scrap every day in June!!)

There are a few other kits by KariQ that I’m hoping to work with this month. Here’s a look at a couple of those

 and here’s her newest kit:

I think the little space dudes are flippin’ cute! Plus, I’ve really been trying to challenge myself by using boy themed kits for my girly pages. We won’t be trying for another kid for a few years now, so I won’t have any boys to scrap about for a while yet. Assuming we get the boy that we are trying for. Knowing Hubby’s luck we will have all girls!

I think that’s about it for today. Oh! I saw “The Myst” the other night for the first time, and I’d have to say that it’s a MUST SEE!! It’s a bit on the gruesome and scary side, but the twist at the end makes this one of those movies that pulls every string.

Have a peachy week!

Plain Digital Wrapper

dear scrapland

Did everyone get their PDW newsletter yesterday? There was a chance for a $5 gift card with Southern Creek Designs! Head on over and sign up if you haven’t already.

Today I wanted to show off my lasted CT stuff and I’ll start off with a wonderful kit created by Jude:

Jude_Heartsong_Preview_600 This is such a beautiful page kit and it can be used for anything from serious photography shots to things that are a little more upbeat and fun. Here is the page that I made:

Jude_Heartsong_Wahclella08

My scrap mojo has been sort of out of wack or MIA for a while and I wish I could do this kit a bit more justice because it’s just so pretty. I guess it’s time to start doing some more challenges or something. Speaking of, I joined in on the color challenge this month and made this page:

ebitt_soundofspring_colorch

I had the chance to work with the fun little kit Sound of Spring by Elaine Bittencourt. I also used her Teeny Tiny Tins:

folder folder

Not sure if you’ve been paying attention, but I've really had a thing for the kits with bright colors lately. Weird!

Well, everyone. I think that’s it for today. I’ll be back later to tell you what’s new at Ginger Scraps. Oh, and by tomorrow, I should know if I made it on the Digital Candy CT. I’m so anxious to find out.

Have a peachy day!

LO Share for PDW

dear scrapland

Another month down! Can you believe that it’ll be April tomorrow. I sure hope it brings with it some showers and leaves the snow up in the clouds.

It’s time again for an LO share for Plain Digital Wrapper. This first page was made using Donna Rafferty’s kit “Sweet Spring Garden”.

folder

This kit was so dreamy. Here’s my LO:

Next is a page using Gypsy Couture’s kit “Kiss of Spring”:
